It is an independent, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated exclusively to purebred boxers, taking in dogs as owner surrenders, strays, shelter transfers, or from abuse and neglect situations, and placing them in loving homes. The organization serves New York and all of New England and was incorporated in New York in 2000, having previously operated as Rochester Boxer Rescue and Maine Boxer Rescue. It is not affiliated with any other boxer rescue organizations.
