Kansas City Kansas Animal Control Shelter in Kansas City, KS
Animal Control in Kansas City, Kansas, is managed by the police department. I serve as a Police Captain and am currently assigned as the Director of Animal Control. Our department addresses animal control issues within the city. We operate as a "no kill" shelter, facilitating adoptions directly at our facility. Additionally, we have volunteers who assist with adoption animals at PetSmart in Olathe on weekends, and we collaborate with rescue groups to find homes for our dogs and cats.
