Baldwin County Humane Society is a humane society located in Fairhope, Alabama, in Baldwin County, about 10 miles northwest of Mobile, AL. It has served Baldwin County for 47 years as the county's first county-wide animal welfare agency, guided by a mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and safely relocate animals in need to good homes, and has saved and adopted out more than 5,000 animals in that time. As a not-for-profit, it relies heavily on volunteers to carry out its work. The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00AM to 4:00PM, and five other animal shelters or rescues also operate within Baldwin County.
