Quad Cities Greyhound Adoption in Rock Island, IL
Quad Cities Greyhound Adoption (QCGA) is an animal shelter located in Rock Island, Illinois, in Rock Island County, roughly 3 miles southeast of Davenport, Iowa, and one of three animal shelters/rescues serving that county. The group is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming retired greyhounds, providing them with spays or neuters, health checks, heartworm testing, vaccinations, and critter control, and covering costly veterinary care such as broken-leg surgery and rehab when needed. Funding comes largely through community fundraisers like yard sales and the Birdies for Charity program tied to the John Deere Classic. Visitors can meet the dogs and volunteers during open hours every Saturday morning or by appointment.
