FuRR Feline Rescue Rehome in Little Rock, AR

FuRR Feline Rescue Rehome is a cat rescue located in Little Rock, Arkansas, about 6 miles east of the city in Pulaski County, where 21 other animal shelters and rescues also operate. Founded in 2007, FuRR began as a trap-neuter-return effort with a feral cat named Jack in downtown Little Rock and has since grown into a rescue focused on reducing the number of unwanted animals throughout Arkansas. The organization is entirely volunteer-run and operates as a network of foster homes rather than a physical shelter, and it partners with Little Rock Animal Village to offer a low-cost spay/neuter clinic, with an operating grant from the Petco Foundation helping caregivers with limited funds cover spay/neuter surgery and rabies vaccinations. All adoptable cats are vetted, current on vaccines and rabies shots, and tested for FIV/FeLV before being placed in new homes.
