Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal shelter located in Erie, Colorado, about 15 miles south of Thornton, CO, dedicated to abused or neglected farmed animals. Its rescued residents include cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens, horses, goats, sheep, and ducks, many saved from abuse and neglect cases, factory farms, religious rituals, slaughterhouse-bound trucks, and bankrupt farms. The sanctuary describes itself as a community built on compassion and nonviolence toward all living beings, welcoming visitors through tours, educational field trips, and volunteer opportunities. It is open daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, seven days a week.
