Tombstone Small Animal Shelter is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill animal shelter located in Tombstone, Arizona, about 60 miles northwest of Tucson. It is entirely volunteer-run and receives no City, County, or Federal funding, relying solely on donations to care for abandoned and surrendered cats and dogs in the Tombstone/Cochise County area. The shelter's mission is to find forever homes for these animals, provide the best possible care while they wait, and ensure local cats and dogs are spayed, neutered, and vaccinated; all animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and chipped before adoption. It is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Potential adopters are interviewed for fit, sign the Adoption Policy, fill out an adoption application, and pay an $85 adoption fee plus microchip registration; staff then review medical records with the adopter and follow up in 7-10 days.
