Aloha Animal Sanctuary is an animal shelter in Kaneohe, Hawaii, located about 5 miles southeast of town. It is O'ahu's first 501(c)3 farmed animal sanctuary, providing a safe haven for cows, pigs, chickens, and other farmed animals who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected, as well as animals at risk of being sent to slaughter without legal intervention. Residents live out the rest of their lives in peace, free from being used or exploited, while the sanctuary promotes compassion toward animals through public engagement and education. The public can get involved through visitor days, volunteering, animal sponsorships, and donations.
