About this shelter

Rhode Home Rescue in Warwick, RI

Rhode Home Rescue is a dog rescue organization based in Warwick, Rhode Island, operating about 2 miles southwest of the city. Its motto, "Saving humans one dog at a time," reflects a mission built around fostering, as the organization relies heavily on volunteer foster homes to care for dogs until they find permanent placements. Rhode Home Rescue works to pull dogs from high-kill animal control facilities, including partnering with shelters in Arkansas, and transports them north to Rhode Island for adoption. The rescue depends on a network of volunteers and fosters, and offers adoption, foster, and volunteer programs for those looking to get involved.
