Christina's Reptile and Animal Sanctuary is located at 339 Lehigh Ave in Palmerton, Pennsylvania, about 15 miles southeast of Allentown. Operating as a registered 501(c)(3) public charity, the sanctuary is a reptile rescue dedicated to educating the public and providing rescued, unwanted, and abandoned reptiles with a home and good quality of life. It is run by owner Christina Obrecht, a Master Herpetologist and alligator handler/trainer, and offers daily enrichment for its animals along with educational shows and displays for schools, fairs, and other events. While currently not open to the public for tours, the sanctuary continues to take in animals when space is available.
