Animal Rescue, Inc. is a rescue organization located in New Freedom, Pennsylvania, about 30 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Known as "A Sanctuary for Life," it has been rescuing dogs and cats since 1976, when founder Grace Froelich chose to keep her cat and purchased what is now nicknamed "The Farm." The organization relies on fosters, volunteers, and sponsors to care for its animals and offers programs such as feline spay/neuter services and crisis intervention for pets in need. It is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
