Visit the shelter to meet an animal, complete an adoption application (in person or beforehand online), bring ID, proof of address, and a valid credit card, and for dogs bring household members and current dogs plus their vaccine records; altered, healthy animals can go home the same day while unaltered ones go home after spay/neuter.
