Pets Alive WNY Cat Adoption Center is a cat rescue located in North Tonawanda, New York, about 15 miles south of Buffalo. It is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit run entirely by volunteers, currently caring for more than 100 cats and kittens who depend on the organization for food, shelter, cleaning supplies, and medical care, including special care for kittens, seniors, and special-needs cats. The center is open for adoptions Tuesday through Friday from 5:00–7:00 PM and Saturday from 12:00–3:00 PM. Beyond adoption, Pets Alive WNY relies on community support through donations, fostering, and volunteering to continue finding loving homes for cats in need.

Adoption process

Prospective adopters must submit an application, and once approved, an adoption counselor will contact them to schedule a visit; adopters must be 21 or older and should bring ID, landlord approval if renting, payment for the adoption fee, and a cat carrier.
