Keller's Kats Rescue, Inc in Spencerport, NY

Keller's Kats Rescue, Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization located in Spencerport, New York, about 10 miles east of Rochester. Formed in October 2014 and entirely volunteer-run, the organization operates without a physical shelter facility, instead relying on a network of foster homes to care for abandoned, lost, and surrendered cats and dogs at risk of euthanasia. As a no-kill organization, no animal in its program is ever euthanized to make space for others, and all necessary medical care is provided before animals are placed in permanent homes. Its mission is to rescue, save, and promote the adoption of animals while providing support and education to the community, and prospective adopters can visit cats in a cage-free space called Keller's Klubhouse during open hours: Monday 11:00 AM–2:00 PM, Friday 5:00–8:00 PM, Saturday 4:00–8:00 PM, and Sunday 11:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Prospective adopters must submit an adoption application, which is reviewed by an adoption counselor who contacts them within 24-48 hours; once approved, a Meet & Greet is scheduled (often at the foster home), followed by completing an adoption contract and paying an adoption fee (cash or check only).
