Almost Home Animal Sanctuary is located on a small apple farm in Little Valley, New York, about 45 miles north of Buffalo. It is open Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing veterinary care and lifelong housing for animals in need, including many with behavioral problems, aggravated cruelty backgrounds, owner illness or death, age-related issues, divorce, or home foreclosure that have made them otherwise unadoptable. Alongside its sanctuary work, the organization offers low-cost spay/neuter services and veterinary emergency surgery, as well as affordable veterinary care for indigent pet owners who could not otherwise afford it.
