The Humane Society in Binghamton, NY
The Humane Society, formally the Broome County Humane Society, is located at 167 Conklin Ave in Binghamton, New York, about 70 miles north of Syracuse. It is open Tuesday through Friday from 12:00–5:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM. The shelter houses more than 185 animals at any given time and offers spay/neuter services, microchipping, grooming, boarding, and euthanasia and cremation support in addition to its adoption program. It also promotes rehoming resources and cruelty-reporting services, encouraging community members to spay and neuter their pets to help reduce overpopulation and homelessness.
