Licking County Humane Society in Heath, OH

The Licking County Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill humane society located in Heath, Ohio, about 30 miles west of Columbus. It has served Licking County since 1966, caring for homeless and abused cats and dogs and helping roughly 5,000 pets and 10,000 people each year through adoption, foster care, and low-cost veterinary services. The shelter is open Tuesday from 12:00–7:00 PM, Thursday from 12:00–6:00 PM, and Friday through Sunday from 12:00–4:00 PM. Depending on the generosity of its community, LCHS works to improve the lives of animals and people through advocacy, education, and support.
