Animal Friends Humane Society is located in Hamilton, Ohio, about 20 miles south of Cincinnati. Established in 1952, it is Butler County's largest and oldest non-profit animal shelter, dedicated to promoting humane principles, protecting lost, homeless, abandoned, and mistreated animals, and acting as an advocate for animals in its community. The shelter offers adoption, fostering, volunteering, and donation opportunities to support its mission. It is open Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00–4:30 PM, and Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00–6:00 PM.
