Meowtown Animal Rescue is a cat rescue located in Lake Ozark, Missouri, about 50 miles north of Columbia, MO. It is a no-kill organization dedicated to finding every cat a forever family, and any cat that isn't adopted is guaranteed a permanent home at the rescue for as long as it needs one. Meowtown cares for cats of all kinds, including long-term residents such as mother cats overlooked after their kittens are adopted and black kittens often passed over because of their color. The rescue is open to visitors Monday, Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
