Its mission is to enhance the lives of pets and their people by providing needed resources to keep them happy, healthy, and safe. The shelter facilitates adoptions of cats and dogs, including private adoption options for each species, and supports the community through a pet food pantry, a spay/neuter clinic, and foster and volunteer programs. Last year the shelter recorded 496 adoptions.
