The Kitten Nursery is a no-kill rescue organization located in Williamston, MI. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission is to rescue cats and kittens in need of shelter and care. We are supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who work to provide a loving and safe environment for our animals until they are placed in permanent homes. The Kitten Nursery depends on the generosity of donors to continue our work of rescuing and caring for cats and kittens.

Adoption process
To begin the adoption process, please complete an online application. We will reach out to your veterinarian for a reference check to ensure that all current pets are up to date on vaccinations and are spayed or neutered. Following this, we will conduct a phone or email interview to determine which cat or cats would be the best fit for your household. We will then arrange a meeting with the cat or cats you are interested in adopting. If you decide to proceed with the adoption, you will need to sign an adoption contract and, if applicable, a spay/neuter contract. The adoption fee will be collected at this time. Please note that The Kitten Nursery does not follow a first-come, first-served policy. Our priority is to find the best possible match between the applicant and the cat. The adoption fees are $50 for the first cat and $25 for a second cat. There is also a $20 sterilization deposit for all kittens that are too young to be spayed or neutered before adoption.
