The Eva Burrell Animal Shelter is a "quality of life" animal shelter located in Manistique, Michigan, roughly 130 miles southwest of Green Bay, WI. It is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:30–3:30 PM, and Wednesday from 12:30–6:00 PM. The shelter believes it has the ability and power to effect change one animal at a time, pledging to educate, lead by example, and be diligent in its fundraising to be worthy of the trust placed in it. EBAS runs dog playgroups for its adoptable dogs to provide mental and physical stimulation, reduce kennel stress, and help staff accurately match dogs with future households.
