About this shelter

Wag Animal Rescue in Livonia, MI

Wag Animal Rescue is a rescue organization based in Livonia, Michigan, open Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, located about 15 miles east of Detroit. WAG is a 501(c)3 non-profit that operates without a physical shelter, instead relying on a network of loving foster homes to care for cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies of all ages until they find their forever homes. Adoptable pets can be met at Saturday adoption events, and since animals are housed with foster families rather than on-site, availability of a specific pet can't be guaranteed without contacting the rescue in advance. The organization depends entirely on donations and volunteers, who serve as the backbone of its mission to home homeless animals.
