Richardsons Rescue is a nonprofit, no-kill 501(c)3 rescue organization based in Mechanicsville, Virginia, about 9 miles southwest of Richmond. Founded in 2015, it is dedicated to the care, rehabilitation, and adoption of domestic cats, working closely with community members to address stray and feral cat overpopulation caused by abandonment and neglect. The organization also runs a barn cat program and relies on a network of volunteers and fosters to help find permanent homes for the cats and kittens in its care.
