The Humane Society of Otter Tail County is the only animal shelter serving Otter Tail County, located in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, about 50 miles northwest of Fargo, ND. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It cares for dogs, cats, and pocket pets, taking in hundreds of homeless, neglected, and surrendered animals each year, and operates out of a newly renovated facility. Beyond adoptions, the organization runs a PAL program and offers fostering, volunteering, and lost-and-found services to the community.
