RESCUE 55021 is a nonprofit animal rescue organization located in Faribault, Minnesota, about 35 miles north of Bloomington, MN. Its mission is to promote and provide loving, caring foster homes for animals in need, while working to reduce the pet population and educate the public on responsible pet ownership. The rescue partners with local veterinarians to ensure every animal is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested, and microchipped before adoption, with dental care, grooming, and other individualized health needs addressed as necessary. RESCUE 55021 is open Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM and 2:00–4:00 PM, with visits by appointment also available on weekends.
