The Oshkosh Area Humane Society is a humane society located at 1925 Shelter Court in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, roughly 15 miles north of Appleton. The shelter is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 1:00–6:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM. Its mission is to provide compassionate care and comfort to animals in need and to build a community that promotes humane treatment of all animals, serving more than 3,200 dogs, cats, and small animals each year through adoption, fostering, and reunification services. Beyond sheltering homeless pets, OAHS supports the community with low-cost vaccine and microchip clinics, a pet food pantry, a Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return program for feral cats, and a Working Cat Program.
