The Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus is located in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, about 35 miles southwest of Green Bay, and is part of the Wisconsin Humane Society, the largest animal welfare organization in the state. The Door County Campus is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. As with all WHS locations, the campus offers an adoption program, stray animal holding services, and intake support for surrendered animals, and it participates in the organization's broader mission of serving both shelter animals and owned pets by partnering with families to keep pets in their homes. The Wisconsin Humane Society receives no general government funding and relies on community support to carry out its work.
