Community Cats Rescue and Adoption Center of Barron County is a cat rescue located in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, about 80 miles southwest of St. Paul, MN. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to reducing suffering among abandoned and homeless cats through rescue, medical care, adoption, and humane TNR or re-homing work, with a mission focused on addressing the outdoor cat population in Barron County through rescue, sterilization, and education. Would-be adopters can browse cat profiles with photos and fit notes, ask low-pressure questions, and apply when a match feels right, and the rescue also offers a weekly "Whisker of the Week" spotlight for cats who have been waiting longer, such as seniors, bonded pairs, or special-needs cats.
