About this shelter
Lucky Mutts Rescue Adoption Center in New Berlin, WI
Lucky Mutts Rescue Adoption Center is a rescue organization based in New Berlin, Wisconsin, about 10 miles east of Milwaukee. Operating since 2015, Lucky Mutts Rescue, Inc. is a foster and volunteer based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to saving dogs facing euthanasia due to placement in high-kill shelters, overpopulation, abuse and neglect, or owner surrender. Every dog rescued receives full medical care, including spay or neuter, microchipping, and any needed vaccinations or treatments, and dogs stay in nurturing foster homes to decompress, build confidence, and socialize while awaiting adoption. Potential fosters and adopters go through a comprehensive screening process, and the organization provides ongoing education and community support to its adopters.
