We are a rescue organization dedicated to Chihuahua and Dachshund breeds. Our mission is to rescue dogs from under-resourced shelters that are facing space limitations. We are passionate about providing care and medical attention to these dogs, and we strive to match them with suitable forever homes. Our commitment stems from a deep concern for the welfare of dogs, as we believe that every dog deserves a warm and safe place to rest.

Adoption process

The adoption process involves several steps: submitting an application, conducting reference checks, verifying veterinary records, checking employment status, performing a background check, and adding your name to a DNA list. If your application is approved, we will arrange a home visit that includes your family and any pets. There is a 24-hour waiting period before the adoption is finalized. During the adoption, a signed contract is required along with a fee of $250. All dogs are adopted out spayed or neutered, vaccinated against distemper and rabies, registered with a 24-hour pet watch service, tested for heartworm, dewormed, and provided with one month of heartworm preventative.
