About this shelter
Rescue Gang in West Milwaukee, WI
Rescue Gang is a nonprofit rescue organization located at 4525 W Burnham St in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin, about 4 miles northeast of Milwaukee. The organization is dedicated to giving dogs a second chance at life by rescuing animals from overcrowded Southern shelters, mainly in Texas, to help them avoid euthanasia, relying on dedicated volunteers to provide care and support until the dogs find loving homes. Beyond adoption and fostering, Rescue Gang also runs a monthly community outreach effort, sending out its Rescue Gang bus to a local food pantry to provide free pet food and supplies, supported by volunteers, donation partners, and Village Church. The shelter is open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
