About this shelter

Cougar Pets Rescue in Sanford, NC

Cougar Pets Rescue is a rescue organization located in Sanford, North Carolina, about 35 miles southeast of Fayetteville, NC. It is housed on the Central Carolina Community College campus, where its animals help teach students in the Veterinary Medical Technology program essential veterinary skills. As a USDA-regulated facility, Cougar Pets Rescue cannot accept owner surrenders or strays directly from the public and instead obtains all of its cats and dogs from shelters; every animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and available for adoption. The rescue is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and offers Meet and Greet sessions by appointment for those interested in adopting.
