About this shelter

Robeson County Humane Society WE ARE FULL (NO INTAKES) in Lumberton, NC

Robeson County Humane Society, currently full and not accepting intakes, is located in Lumberton, North Carolina, about 30 miles north of Fayetteville. It operates as a state-licensed no-kill, non-profit rescue facility through its Friends for Life Shelter, having received its 501(c)(3) designation in 1990. The organization was founded to find loving homes for adoptable dogs and cats while promoting responsible pet ownership with an emphasis on spaying and neutering, and its staff and volunteers care for the animals on-site until forever homes are found. The adoption center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
