Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue in Tampa, FL
Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue is a rescue organization based in Tampa, Florida, located in Hillsborough County, about 9 miles southeast of Tampa, alongside 12 other animal shelters and rescues in the county. Its mission is to save and rehome beagles and beagle mixes, taking in dogs from situations like kill shelters and placing them with dedicated foster families until they find permanent homes. The organization highlights adoptable dogs' temperaments in detail, from housebreaking and behavior with children and other pets to individual quirks, and holds regular beagle adoption and meetup events for the public to meet available dogs. It is run by a group of dedicated volunteers and also sells an annual beagle photo calendar as a fundraiser to support its rescue efforts.
