About this shelter
Covington Animal Rescue Effort in Covington, TN
Covington Animal Rescue Effort is a rescue organization based in Covington, Tennessee, about 35 miles southwest of Memphis. Founded in 2009, this small, all-volunteer group has rescued over 4,000 dogs from the surrounding Tipton County area, working in partnership with the local Tipton County Animal Shelter. Since it does not maintain a physical shelter location, it relies on a network of foster homes and facilitates adoptions through personalized meet-and-greet sessions. The organization is always in need of volunteers to provide foster care and help with events throughout the year.
