About this shelter

A Paw and A Prayer Dog Rescue in Chattanooga, TN

A Paw and A Prayer Dog Rescue is a volunteer-run dog rescue based about 10 miles west of Chattanooga, Tennessee, serving the greater Chattanooga area. Founded by Judy, the rescue helps dogs that have been abandoned, neglected, and abused, working to reduce the number of pets turned into shelters by rescuing adoptable dogs and preparing them for new homes. Once rescued, dogs are vaccinated, treated for intestinal parasites, spayed or neutered, and given additional medical care as needed for conditions like heartworms, broken bones, or mange, all funded through personal resources and community donations. The rescue is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
