About this shelter
Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals in Hillsboro, OR
Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals is an animal shelter in Hillsboro, Oregon, located about 1 mile southwest of the city, and open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Since 2002, OFOSA has saved more than 21,200 homeless pets by rescuing dogs from overcrowded shelters, accepting surrendered and abandoned dogs and cats, and spaying or neutering every animal in its care. The organization also works with the community on Trap-Neuter-Release efforts for stray and colony cats and provides rescue and care for injured and sick kittens and cats from colonies. Most of its animals live in foster homes while awaiting adoption into permanent, loving families.
