Crossroads Animal Rescue is a rescue organization located in Seneca, South Carolina, about 40 miles northeast of Greenville. Known as CARE, it was founded by Crossroads Animal Hospital with the goal of decreasing pet euthanasia rates in Oconee County. The rescue takes in dogs, cats, horses, and other animals, with most of its adoptable pets being strays found in the local area, along with animals surrendered directly by the public or transferred from other shelters when space allows. Before finding loving homes, all animals are brought up to date on medical care, and dogs and cats are spayed or neutered.
