About this shelter
God's Dog Rescue in Von Ormy, TX
God's Dog Rescue is a dog rescue located in Von Ormy, Texas, about 15 miles northeast of San Antonio. Operating under the motto "Rescuing God's Lost Dogs," the organization has been serving South Texas and the San Antonio area since 1995, rescuing and fostering abused, abandoned, and neglected dogs until they find their "furever" homes in Texas, elsewhere in the country, or even Canada. The rescue relies heavily on a network of over 300 foster families in the San Antonio area, supplying them with crates, food, and bedding, and also offers a Virtual Foster program for those who wish to support dogs through monthly donations without fostering in their own homes.
