It is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, all-volunteer-run rescue that cares for cats and dogs. Its mission is to work with local communities to provide a safe home for animals, find them loving forever homes, and advocate for animal welfare, with a vision of communities and organizations working together to end the cycle of abused, neglected, and homeless animals. The rescue relies entirely on community donations and volunteers to keep its kennels full, bowls full, and medical shelves stocked.
