New Beginnings Animal Rescue (visitors by appointment only) in Alvaton, KY

New Beginnings Animal Rescue is located in Alvaton, Kentucky, about 10 miles northwest of Bowling Green, and operates by appointment only, open 24 hours every day of the week. Founded in 1998 by Ashley Costello, the rescue is foster-based with no public location to visit, and it pulls animals from shelters that may be deemed unadoptable due to treatable medical issues or disabilities, occasionally taking owner surrenders as well. It cares for both dogs and cats as well as small animals, such as guinea pigs, some of whom become permanent residents due to ongoing medical needs. NBARR obtained its 501(c)(3) nonprofit status on January 21, 2021, and all donations to the organization are tax deductible.
