Madison County Spca Humane is a no-kill humane society located in Anderson, Indiana, about 25 miles southwest of Carmel, IN. Operating since 1973, it is a private, donation-funded 501(c)(3) organization that receives no taxpayer funding and shelters more than 100–115 homeless cats and dogs each day, with additional animals placed in foster care. Its mission is to help homeless cats and dogs find loving forever homes, reunite lost pets with their owners, promote responsible pet ownership, and advocate humane treatment of all animals. The shelter is open to the public Monday 12:00–4:30 PM, Tuesday 12:00–6:30 PM, Thursday 12:00–6:30 PM, Friday 12:00–4:30 PM, Saturday 12:00–4:30 PM, and Sunday 12:00–2:00 PM.
