Adoption Process
Applicants choose a pet, complete an application form, undergo a veterinary reference check and a phone pre-adoption interview, then sign an adoption contract and pay fees to finalize the adoption.

Founded in 2002, it is operated entirely by a dedicated, caring all-volunteer staff and is a fully independent entity, not affiliated with any local or national organizations. The shelter cares for adoptable cats and dogs and is open Tuesdays from 4:30–7:00 PM, Saturdays from 8:30 AM–12:00 PM, and Sundays from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.
