Community Effort Animal Rescue in Littlerock, CA
Community Effort Animal Rescue is a licensed nonprofit dog and cat rescue and sanctuary located in Littlerock, California, about 35 miles southwest of Los Angeles. Founded in 2015, it is a volunteer-based organization operating in the Antelope Valley, an area where local county-run shelters take in far more dogs than all Los Angeles county shelters combined due to a high population of abandoned and lost dogs and cats in the surrounding rural desert. The rescue partners with the City of Palmdale through Measure AV and the Caravita Foundation to offer affordable and, for feral cats, free spay and neuter services to pets and trappers throughout the Antelope Valley. Those interested in adopting a dog or cat can reach out directly by email to arrange the process.
