The High Desert Humane Society is a nonprofit animal welfare organization located in Globe, Arizona, roughly 60 miles west of Mesa, AZ. It operates a dog and cat rescue at 700 W. Hackney Ave., open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Its mission is to prevent animal cruelty, relieve animal suffering, educate the community about humane animal care, promote spaying and neutering to limit pet populations, and find forever homes for homeless dogs and cats. The organization is run by a team dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need while they wait for adoption.
