Marshall County Humane Society is located in Plymouth, Indiana, about 25 miles north of South Bend, at the corner of US 31 and 13th Road. It is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with after-hours meet-and-greets available by approved application to keep the shelter low-stress for animals and allow one-on-one attention for adopters. The shelter provides adoptions of dogs and cats, a spay/neuter program, humane education, animal control, and animal cruelty investigations, and it also runs the "Purfect Program," a low-cost spay/neuter, vaccination, and ear-tipping service for outdoor cats to help manage the community cat population. As a small organization, it relies heavily on donations, sponsorships, and wish-list supply drop-offs to support its work caring for homeless animals.
