Animal Humane Society is located in Woodbury, Minnesota, about 9 miles west of St. Paul, and is open Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Each summer the organization expects to care for nearly 7,000 animals in need, relying on donor support to make that possible. It also runs community outreach programs, including a spay/neuter initiative in the Frogtown neighborhood that has already helped more than 990 pets, and offers educational opportunities like the PetSet Youth Club for children in grades 5-7 who want to learn more about animal welfare.
