Avocato Catfé and Adoption Center is a cat rescue located in Farmington Hills, Michigan, about 20 miles southwest of Ann Arbor. It is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) animal rescue that is 100% volunteer-run with no paid staff, and all proceeds from its café go directly toward the care of its animals. Operated by Pet Adoption Alternative of Warren (PAAW), the café combines a cozy cat lounge—where visitors can relax with coffee or a light snack while spending time with adoptable cats and kittens—with a kitten nursery for kittens under six months old awaiting homes. The center is open Monday 1:00–4:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday 12:00–7:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, offering a calm environment for getting to know each cat's personality before adoption.
