Faxon Animal Care & Adoption Center is the shelter facility of the Animal Rescue League of Fall River, located in Fall River, Massachusetts, about 15 miles northwest of East Providence, RI. The League has been changing the lives of animals for over 100 years, working to protect and enhance animal welfare through Shelter and Clinic Programs, Education, Advocacy, and Service, and it cares for and finds homes for hundreds of homeless and needy animals across Southeastern Massachusetts each year. The center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00–3:00 PM, closed for lunch in between. Beyond adoptions, the organization offers volunteer and foster opportunities, pet surrender services, and cremation services to the community.
